Where Are You Now?
PCC gave me confidence and spunk. Being apart of such a large group that did
such big things made me feel so important. Germany was one of the most life
enhancing experiences I have ever had. I got to do something I love, while figuring
out that I was doing it in a place that I would grow to love, while also learning,
shopping, viewing, and bonding with amazing people! PCC also taught me about
really hard work and proved how fabulous the payoff feeling truly is after all the
hard work. PCC taught me dedication, persistence, determination, better music
reading skills, great listening abilities to those around me, how to blend together as
a choir, the key to dynamics, beautiful harmonizing, and so much more!

Testimonial:
I have a huge sense of pride being a part of PCC the first year it was established
and seeing that it is still going--makes me even prouder.  PCC enhanced my life in
ways I didn't realize until I got older.  It helped me connect socially with other
children my age.  It exposed me to different types of music and environments; and
taught me to appreciate that exposure.  I remember traveling all over the valley to
sing at various venues.  It was like an adventure to me.  PCC taught me the
fundamentals of music--which later gave me the formal training and confidence I
needed to continue singing successfully in high school and college.  Being a part
of PCC was an invaluable experience!.

PCC Memories:
I have met some pretty crazy people in my lifetime, but nobody as crazy as the
members in PCC.  Although they act wacky, I find myself fitting in with them; in
fact, after 6 years of singing with them, I find comfort in calling them my second
family.  I have unbreakable friendships that will last a lifetime and the musical
experience to continue singing well after "infinite and beyond".  Texas, Washington
DC, New York, Russia, Mexico, Canada, Vermont and finally China-the memories
of laughter, love and singing will stay with me even as I grow older in time.  I'm
so glad to have this amazing past with my second family.

PCC Memories:
Thanks to PCC I have been around the world.  I have so many I have met in this
program.  Friends like I have made here can never be forgotten.  I also remember
all of the wonderful performance experiences, inside jokes, mishaps, embarrassing
moments, inspirational moments and the amazing music we have been given a fest
at the end of the Canada tour and Mrs. Marum’s head touch experiment, being
home hosted in Mexico, performing at Capella Hall in Russia, singing in the church
by ground zero, Schlitterbam, teaching the Russian kids American slang, late night
heart to hearts with my girls, and so much more.

PCC has changed my life completely and I am so grateful for every moment and
every special memory.

choir and now I'm looking for something else to join. I guess I'm kind of a drifter!.
Testimonial:
I never knew that being in a choir could effect someone so much. Choir
performers are not just entertainers. We don't sing just so that people have
something to watch, to listen to, to do. We sing because we love it. We sing
because we know it changes people's lives. The opportunities and experiences I
had in the Phoenix Children's Chorus changes my life. It helped me understand
music. It helped me realize that I want to sing for the rest of my life, and that
music is the song of my soul.
