Where Are You Now? Currently finishing my Sr. year of high school, I am enrolled in 3
school choirs and have created a fourth choir that meets afterschool. I plan to study
aeronautical engineering at CalTech for the next 4 years.
Testimonial: PCC immensely broadened my knowledge of the world, both choral and
political. By being involved in PCC I feel that I have enhanced my musical ability and
shown my willingness to stick out from the crowd by putting forth extra effort.
PCC Memories: I always looked forward to going to camp before the semester started. It
was a great way to bond with everyone. I had a total of six choir directors so I learned a
ton. Most of all I would like to thank Mrs. Marum and Mr. Carpenter for all the help they
gave me through the years.
Where Are You Now? Right now I am currently attending school at PVCC and pursuing
Theatre and Film. I was an Extra in the Feature Film, "Kids in America" Staring Topher
Grace, Ana Faris and Dan Folger. I was also a Shark Girl in the 2007 production of West
Side Story at Theater Works. I am planning on moving to LA in the next year.
Testimonial: PCC was not only a choir, or a place to sing. It was a place to make
friends, learn life lessons and grow as a person. The director's teach fundementals that I am
still using today. I was a member of the Phoenix Childrens Choir for almost nine years, I
started in Prep Choir and worked my way up to Encore. It was truly one of the best
experiences of my life. I have been cast in over eight musicals and I owe that to this choir.
I would have never had the vocal skills or the confidence, if it wasn't for them.
Years Involved with PCC: 1995-2004

PCC Memories: The weekend rehearsals with all the choirs, and the late night dance
practices! And who could forget our trips to Ireland and Germany?!
Years Involved with PCC: 2003-2004

Where Are You Now? I'm currently student teaching in Maricopa. I will be graduating
from Northern Arizona University in May with a Special Education and Elementary
Education degree.
Testimonial: PCC was an incredible experience. The bonds that were formed through the
practices and performances were unlike any other choir that I was a part of. And the
incredible opportunities to travel were more than I could ask for!
PCC Memories: My first memories were going to Austria then my I ended it with going to
Ireland.
Where Are You Now? I'm living in Flagstaff finishing my BA in Music and BS in
Theatre Education degree.
Testimonial: Being able to work with the prep choir my last year in Encore helped
increase my leadership abilities and was a great lead in to my music degree.
Years Involved with PCC: 2000-2003

PCC Memories: World Choral Olympics I and II! Ireland, and Texas!
Where Are You Now? College in Spokane WA, (Gonzaga University) getting a Degree in
Theatre Arts with a Minor in Dance.
Testimonial: Phoenix Children's Chorus was one of the major highlights of my middle
school and high school career. In PCC, I learned that with hard work and dedication I
could achieve amazing results. The directors in this chorus are dedicated and taught me
skills that I have carried through to this day. Because of Phoenix Children's Chorus, I
have become a more confident performer and because of the support I received not only
from the amazing directors, but from friends, and family of PCC I am following my dream
of performing on main stage. The friends I have made in the chorus are some of the
strongest bonds I have made to this day. A "PPC-er" shares a bond with every other
chorister, no matter what age. We have ALL succeeded, cried, and laughed together. If I
hadn't auditioned for Phoenix Children's Chorus in the Spring of 1999, I would not be
where I am today.
