PCC Memories: Too many to write down. I made so many wonderful friendships and
learned under several incredible directors beginning with Ken Goodenberger, who I now
sing with professionally, Julie, and finally, the wonderful Ron Carpenter!! We went on fun
choir tours to Disney Land and sang in some beautiful venues.
Where Are You Now? I teach voice, piano, and violin privately out of my home in
Phoenix. I got my degrees in Music and Theatre from Grand Canyon University in 2005
Renaissance Singers as well as concerts with Showcase Concerts and lead worship at my
church.
Testimonial: My time in the Phoenix Children's Chorus means the world to me. I learned
so much and I learned it correctly. I gained confidence in my abilities and socially and
walked away with so many cherished memories. I'm so glad to see that the choir has grown
to what it is today and I'm sending my students now. Hopefully, my kids will someday sing
with PCC as well!!

PCC Memories: Washington/New York Trip, St. Petersburg, Russia
Future Plans: I will be attending Franciscan University of Steubenville in the fall and will
be majoring in international business.
PCC Memories: Traveling to Russia was one of the most incredible and most memorable
experiences in my life. It brought the entire choir a lot closer. I especially became very
close with my roommate and the other three girls in my group. I have formed relationships
with those girls that are absolutely wonderful! I loved experiencing the Russian culture.
This experience, along with some other traveling I have done with my family, has been the
reason I want to focus on International studies in College.

Future Plans: Off to college to major in Opera and minor in Creative Writing
PCC Memories: My gosh! Too many. The memories I have the most are all the trips I
went on with Encore: to Texas, Washington DC and New York, and then, to Russia. The
main trip I remember is the Russia trip. That was amazing. I did NOT want to go, but as
soon as I was there in Russia , I didn't want to leave! It might have just been the fact that I
didn't want to fly that long anymore, but I don't think that was it. I also loved how Kristina
and Hannah always made us go ice skating. Other memories include camp. I made a lot of
friends, not just in Encore, but as young as Prep Choir. PCC was the best 4 years of my life
and, although there were times when I didn't want to go, I felt left out or angry at someone
because they yelled at me, I would never trade my PCC years for anything!

Future Plans: Going to college for physics; plan to be a research particle physicist, keep
singing!
PCC Memories: One of my best friends, Grace, I met through choir. Ireland, Germany,
and Russia were my favorite tours, all for different reasons. Singing in Capella Hall last
summer was absolutely incredible. It was the highlight of my choir experience thus far.
PCC History: Ireland, Germany, San Antonio, New York/DC, St. Petersburg, Singing with
the Phoenix Symphony and in the Opera Carmina Burana with the ASU Symphony
Orchestra.
