Where I am now: Mesa, AZ. I work for Qwest. I'm married with 2 little girls. I'd like
my one or both of my girls to join PCC someday.
PCC Memories: I remember I won some kind of award that I wanted to get for so long,
and I was so proud. I remember struggling to find uniforms and eventually all of us
getting the same scratchy red sweaters and blue string ties.
Testimonial: It made me love to sing in choirs which I continued to do throughout high
school and college. I still love many kinds of music.
Years Involved with PCC: 2003-2004

Testimonial: PCC really enhanced my performing skills as a singer and all-around
performer. Mr. C really taught me a lot about choral singing. I loved it. It was such a
wonderful experience and a lot of fun. :) It was really a once-in-a-life-time thing, and I'm
so glad my mom took me to audition. It also helped me to become more confident, and it
gave me a chance to see certain parts of the world I might never have seen. So, thank you!
Where I am now: I just graduated Chaparral High School and I am off to ASU to study
Theater and Film! Hopefully soon thereafter, I will move to California or New York to
pursue film, Broadway, and voice!
PCC Memories: I loved choir and I wish I could do it again. A few best memories were
when I first sang in the choir at camp and I was overwhelmed that everyone could sing
together and sound awesome. Singing in the cathedral in Ireland and mastering "Ain't a
that Good News" for the World Choral Olympics were great memories, too, in addition to
the fact that I still know my harmonies to a few songs, especially the "German Lullaby."
They are all wonderful memories, never a bad one. :).

Where I am now: AZ; going to high school
PCC Memories: Russia!!!
Testimonial: It taught Alyssa how to sing and improve dramatically which has helped her
with her acting and auditioning also. The tours she went on were great learning
experiences. PCC is the best!
Years Involved with PCC: 1996-2004

Testimonial: I was 10 when I joined, and 17 when I left (reluctantly)I started in Cadet
and the next year I went into Concert. Mr Carpenter was a little intimidating at first, but
over the next couple of years he showed me dedication, passion, understanding, and pride.
I was proud to be in his choir, and proud of myself. When we went to Austria it was the
summer before I went to high school, and after that experience I knew I had found myself.
The praise and support I got during the trip really pushed me into myself and I haven't been
the same since. I went on to be the section leader for my marching band, and then the
drum major. I was president of the Music Honors Society at my school, and the president
of Future Business Leaders of America also. In Encore I learned to have a little more fun
with music, and take performing up to a whole new level.
My overseas tours with the choir taught me about other cultures, personal responsability,
and how much I really love to travel. I wouldn't trade my experience with PCC for
anything.

Where I am now: I am now married, and I have a three year old son who loves music and
can already play some songs on the piano. My husband is a Nuclear Engineer on a US
submarine. I lived in Charleston SC for a little over two years and now I live in
Bremerton, WA which is across the sound form Seattle. I am a Bio/Chem major with a
music minor and I plan on becoming a HS science teacher.
PCC Memories: Midsummer's Night Dream with the Phoenix Symphony, my first
performance at the Orpheum, almost fainting when we sang for Princess Ann, Austria and
the spiritual experience of singing in those cathedrals (specially the Melk Abbey), Ireland
(my mom showing up unannounced)and my host family (who I still keep in touch with),
Germany and getting a silver!!! Oh and Mr Carpenter riding on the carousel...
